Art Review: Surf Prints

If you have been keeping up on our art review blog series, then you know that we've already talked about one of our original surf art pieces and a few favorites from our surf photography collection. Although our originals and photographs are all incredible, we know that not everyone has the budget for them, and luckily, you can still enjoy the best from SurfART.com with our wide variety of prints. The following is our art review of some of our favorites:

A Day at the Beach

A Day at the Beach comes from impressionist, Norm Daniels and it captures his ability to let his inward emotions out onto canvas. Although Norm is mostly self-taught, when you look at A Day at the Beach, his talent and passion really start to shine through. With vibrant colors and an eye for composition, Norm has made this painting a must have for any surf art collection.

Exxtra Strength

The first thing that most people think when they see Rick Rietveld's work is surreal, and Exxtra Strength is no exception. The colorful design and unique subject matter reflect Rick's southern California upbringing. Exxtra Strength is the perfect example of Rick's creativity and attention to detail, and this print embodies everything we all love about hitting the water, how fun it is!

Happy Hour

When most people think of the beach they think of sand, sun, surf and cocktails, and no other print can bring everything we all love about the beach alive like Happy Hour can. This watercolor comes from the extremely talented Bill Drysdale, and it is full of color and liveliness. Bill has a unique technique. He creates his masterpieces with loose, obvious brush strokes that could easily overpower the painting in a less-talented hand, but the result is truly amazing.
