Keith Finkelstein - Impressionist / Fused Glass
Artist Statement

My love of impressionistic movement is expressed in my glasswork. I feel that each piece I create represents an impressionistic dream that is preserved forever within the glass. The process taking hundreds of thousands of tiny pieces of glass, melting them from solid into liquid form as the glass becomes one solid sheet, then cooling the glass back to a solid form is an absolutely fascinating and consuming process. Much like life, glass is fragile, yet very strong.
